1.    Did you know that…kangaroos cannot walk backwards. Well come to think of it I never seen them moonwalk either.

2.    Check this out…A cockroach can live for several weeks without its head. Wow, talk about losing your mind.

3.    This one sure surprised me…The shortest war in history was between Britain and Zanzibar on August 27, 1896, lasting just 38 minutes.  I’m sorry that’s just lazy, the movie about this war lasted longer than that.

4.    Next up…..The world's largest snowflake on record measured 15 inches wide and 8 inches thick. Well you don’t want that one falling on your head.

5.    Did you know….The average person will spend six months of their life waiting for red traffic lights to turn green.  hmmm, I think we all should be able to retire 6 months early.

6.    Hey…The national animal of Scotland is the unicorn.  OK so who’s gonna tell ‘em unicorns don’t exist?

7.    Sloths only defecate once a week and lose up to one-third of their body weight in the process.  Ahh also known as the Hollywood Diet…OK.

8.    Hmmm…The world's largest jellyfish, the lion's mane jellyfish, can have tentacles that reach over 100 feet long.  So basically if you can see it, its too late.

9.    Now this next little creature doesn’t get much respect, but considering Earthworms have 5 hearts which are specifically known as aortic arches, which function similar to our own hearts. You’d think there would be more of them as pets instead of just fish food.  I mean who knew earthworms had so much heart.

10.   And finally did you know….The longest word in the English language is "pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis" which refers to a lung disease caused by inhaling very fine silica particles. Just make sure you take a deep breath before you say this word.
